2018 The First Tee Million Dollar Pro-Am Challenge
Wednesday, May 23
Richmond Country Club at 9100 Steveston Highway
1:00pm shotgun start

The First Tee Million Dollar Pro-Am Challenge event is all about raising funds to ensure vulnerable kids and youth can have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game of golf. The First Tee of the YMCA of Greater Vancouver enables youth to gain skills and learn how to respect themselves and others. They also learn how to manage emotions, set goals and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. It's a program that can set up kids on the right course for a brighter future.

Our goal this year is to raise $80,000 for programming, outreach, subsidies and expansion and we need your help. We are seeking like-minded corporations and individuals to get involved as sponsors which will be used to reach these goals:

  • Introduce the Life Skills Experience Program which links the skills of golf with the larger lessons in life to more than 1,000 young people in via partnerships with the Vancouver and Surrey school boards
  • Serve more than 500 youth in after-school, spring break and summer camp registered programs
  • Provide free access to the Life Skills Experience Program more than 200 children from Vancouver's downtown eastside
