National Child Day – Celebrating Children’s Rights

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child recognizes all children under the age of 18 as active participants in their own development and deserving of universal rights to ensure they live full and healthy lives. Almost every country in the world has agreed to the Convention, making it the most universal human rights agreement of our time. On November 20th celebrate National Child Day with the children and youth in your life. Learn more about this special day, and check out some of the activity kits available on the Government of Canada website.
