Mothers with children ages 0-6
An estimated one out of every six women experience troubling depression or anxiety after the birth or adoption of a child. This is referred to as postpartum depression and anxiety (PPD/A) and can be a tremendously stressful time for the family. The Post Partum Support Group, is facilitated by the Pacific Post Partum Support Society and is led by a trained facilitator. The group provides a safe place for mothers to connect with other mothers in a similar situation and receive valuable information and emotional support. Share your questions, concerns & stories in a caring and open environment.
Groups have a maximum capacity of eight mothers and complimentary childminding is available during group meeting times. Please bring snacks or a lunch for your little one(s).
