Move with Parkinson’s is a group-based exercise program designed to support individuals living with Parkinson’s disease to regain confidence and manage day to day activities.
Delivered in collaboration with the Fraser Health Authority, this program is designed to help those who may be struggling with poor balance, coordination, stiffness and low endurance.
Meet other participants living with Parkinson’s and support each other along the way. Classes are 1 hour in duration and are held twice a week for 12 weeks (24 classes total).
Cost: $255 Participants who are experiencing financial hardship are welcome to apply for financial assistance.
Eligibility: Ages 19+ and living with Parkinson’s disease.
Program Details: This program takes place at the Tong Louie Family YMCA, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30– 2:30pm (Studio 2)
Participants must be referred by the Fraser Health Authority. Once you are referred, we will contact you directly to complete your registration and process payment.
