Chilliwack is getting a new Y!  Opening in early 2019, this modern health, fitness, community and recreation facility will help meet the needs of all Chilliwack families so that everyone can reach their potential.  We are looking for people to join our team who will warmly welcome long-time members to the new centre of community and create a welcoming space for men, women, children, teens, seniors and families who are new to the Y to belong.

Summary

  • Greet and welcome members and participants
  • Provide information to potential members and address member questions or concerns
  • Provide building tours
  • Answer phones
  • Administrative projects as assigned   

Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Minimum 1 volunteer shift a week and minimum 2 hours a week of volunteer work
  • Completion of volunteer documentation and criminal record check
  • First Aid certification an asset

  • A current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date
  • Three references  (two of these should be professional references)
