The First Tee Mission

To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Job Summary

Coaching assistants are needed to assist our Head Coach in program delivery, skill development and participant supervision.  Coaching Assistants should have a STRONG level of golf knowledge and the ability ot have fun while working with children.

Requirements

  • Interest in working with children and youth
  • Knowlege of the rules and fundamentals of golf
  • Work with minimal supervision while co-operating with staff and other volunteers
  • Completion of volunteer documentation and Criminal Record Check
  • First Aid and Coaching certification an asset
  • Commitment to a minimum of one program session as outlined below:

After School Programming  - 1x weekly for a 5 week session
