The Burnaby Public Library has teamed up with Burnaby Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services to bring StoryWalk to green spaces in Burnaby!

A StoryWalk is an installation that consists of pages from a children’s book that are placed along an outdoor path. You’ll follow the story as you stroll down the trail, and each panel will direct you to the next page in the story. StoryWalk promotes literacy, reading, health, exercise, and movement in communities and neighbourhoods.

Check out the current StoryWalk installation at Civic Square from Monday, August 23 to Monday, October 25, 2021:

  • Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall, a tale about working up courage and overcoming your fears.
