All YMCA overnight camp programs take place at YMCA Camp Elphinstone, located on BC's Sunshine Coast. Overnight camp includes summer one-week and two-week sessions, extended leadership programs for teens, wilderness expeditions, and family camps.
Registration for 2025 YMCA Camp Elphinstone programs will open Friday, Jan. 24 at 9:30 a.m.! Registration links will be available on this page once the sign-up period is open.

Overnight Camp
With an emphasis on building independence and personal development, campers gain confidence in the overnight camp setting. Campers learn new skills and challenge themselves with many traditional camp activities like canoeing, archery, and ropes courses. From specialized sailing or out-tripping camps to shorter introductory sessions for little ones, we have something for everyone.
Overnight Programs:
One and Two Week Camps (7-15 years)
McNabb Camp (5-7 years)
Four-Day Out-trip (12-14 years)
Nine-Day Out-trip (13-15 years)
Leadership Development 1 (15-16 years)
Leadership Development 2 (16-17 years)

Family Camp
YMCA Camp Elphinstone offers an ideal setting for families to focus on what’s most important—spending time together. Family Camp, which takes place in late summer and during Thanksgiving Weekend, is a great way for families to escape the city without the hassle of pitching a tent or driving long distances.
2025 Family Camp Dates:
Summer Family Camp: Aug. 24-27 (all ages)
Fall Family Camp: Oct. 10-12 (all ages)

Financial Assistance
We firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to attend camp. That's why the YMCA offers financial assistance to those whose circumstances would otherwise prevent them from joining us.
If Financial Assistance may be appropriate for your family to access YMCA Camp Elphinstone programming, please complete an application form to be considered. Completed forms can be returned to camp.elphinstone@bc.ymca.ca and may be submitted in advance of registration opening on Jan. 24. Please email us with any questions about Financial Assistance and the application process.
