YMCA BC Health, Fitness and Aquatic Centres Support Wildfire Evacuees
To support wildfire evacuees, YMCA BC is offering free drop-in access at all our Health, Fitness and Aquatics (HFA) centres. Those with valid photo ID who have been impacted or displaced by the wildfires can access any of our HFA centres for recreational use, showering, and other services, as well as drop-in programming and fitness classes during our standard hours of operation.

Things to Know
If I am affected by wildfires, how can I use the YMCA?
You are welcome to enjoy a shower and clean up in our changerooms, use our drop-in facilities public or member swim, open gymnasium, fitness floor, drop-in fitness classes, indoor playground and other services offered at the YMCA health, fitness and aquatic centres.
What do I need to bring with me?
Each individual is required to bring a valid photo ID for registration.
Do I have to register each day?
You may continue to use the YMCA for a two-week period if you continue to be affected by wildfires.
